The Farm and Fishery

*makes the coffee and picks it up with his new hand*

*new hand fails utterly and goes limp, dropping the mug on the floor with a crash*

*gets boiling hot coffee all over his feet and lower legs*

*hops around in pain a bit shaking his arm to try to get feeling back into his hand*

*hobbles towards the lake and settles down putting his feet in the cool water*

*continues to try to get his hand to flex*

*Ms. Paint ends up hearing the badly concealed fear in his voice.*

*With a sigh, she positions herself to try and get out of bed.*

*faintly hears movement and gets up quickly, his care for paint overriding his worry over his hand*

*as the flask is opened the fragments of soul come flying out, black and barely visible and yet somehow pure and innocent.*

*as they hit slick a force shoots out of him pushing nepeta away and flattening the pumpkin patch completely*

*after a few seconds pitch black ink begins seeping out of slick's eyes as the last of his magic is lost, he also seems to weaken a bit and age slightly, his carapace losing some of its gleam*

*as the ink seeps away he drops to the floor the strange power letting him down gently before disturbing*
