BS sifts trough the victims pockets, noticing instantly thanks to his INTENSE FORENSIC TRAINING that someone else has done so recently. He checks the bodies back and instantly notices that no number was carved on this one, but an attempt to was obviously made.
BS tells GG what he's noticed.
"So, this one was either an exception, or...." GG begins, but is interrupted by BS.
"There could be another attack, I know." BS corrects his glasses
"The problem is that we have no idea who it will be. The pattern was broken, but does the pattern even matter? It's hard to tell now."
"Maybe we could employ a Mage or Bishop, see if they can pick up anything to do with the killings." GG says nervously.
"A good idea, but not ideal. These deaths are coming out like rounds from a pistol."
"Pun intended?"
"Yup."

The detective and his companion are standing at the second murder site. There was an attempt to carve a number on this one, but it clearly failed. They drag the body to the first murder site, where they find that the policeman guarding it has been killed, his badge torn off. The badge had his ID on it.

((let me tell you what i did: i left a body where you first posted, i then had a guttersnipe shoot a gun in the air and run off, leaving the gun behind))

((i then went back to the victim and killed the police man guarding it, carving his badge number into his chest, i then rifled through the body and ran off when i found out that the thing i was looking for had already been taken [i leave that up to you, maybe directions to an abandoned house or something like that] and when i ran off my hood fell of my face which would allow and witnesses to identify me if i got caught))

Ok guys, How about we just write the plot line down? As of the current moment, BS and GG are at the main site, with a policeman and two victims dead. One of the victims lacks the pattern that all of the others have had, but the policeman has taken his place, his ID carved into his back like every other victim except the latest. Agreeable? Also, sorry about the Poke-bear thing, I was in a bad mood.))
