I was watching the Nightfall thread on MSPAF and noticed that some people were talking about character alignment, so I decided that creating a thread might hopefully, be somewhat amusing I guess. The test can be found here if you are interested, I was shown to be Lawful Neutral after I finished. So if you're interested, just post a snip of your results or just, copy them down if you want. | |

Lawful Evil- A lawful evil villain methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard for whom it hurts. He cares about tradition, loyalty, and order but not about freedom, dignity, or life. He plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. He is comfortable in a hierarchy and would like to rule, but is willing to serve. He condemns others not according to their actions but according to race, religion, homeland, or social rank. He is loath to break laws or promises. This reluctance comes partly from his nature and partly because he depends on order to protect himself from those who oppose him on moral grounds. Some lawful evil villains have particular taboos, such as not killing in cold blood (but having underlings do it) or not letting children come to harm (if it can be helped). They imagine that these compunctions put them above unprincipled villains. Some lawful evil people and creatures commit themselves to evil with a zeal like that of a crusader committed to good. Beyond being willing to hurt others for their own ends, they take pleasure in spreading evil as an end unto itself. They may also see doing evil as part of a duty to an evil deity or master. | Well it certainly sounds like a good idea to me, and it looks like you were right about you alignment as well, since I can remember you stating that you were Lawful evil at some point. In the RESET thread maybe? | |

| Not sure where but yeah, I always said I am Lawful Evil.
Still think that sometimes the questions were a bit extreme, like, there is a famine and the only options are to either share your food or to steal food? Why the heck isn't there an option to JUST NOT SHARE the food you have?
Family elders voice dislike about you, how are the only options to change or to "Besmirch" then? While isn't there an option to just ignore it?
Also a lot of those questions are really tricky, like number 7 "A powerful but corrupt judge offers you wealth if you'll testify against your friend." Okay, so, how much money are we talking here? Which friend? What's the worst that could happen if they are found guilty? Is my friend actually guilty or not? If I need to lie, how obvious will it be I'm lying?
Those are very important aspects, you know?
