'a quick death then'

the spark rips the star's heart out

"Well fuck you too"

*dies*

The Knight sees the Star crumple to the ground, dead. He pushes back his shock for a moment. All he has to do is get in one good hit to the back of the head. If he can just knock this guy out, he may be able to nip this in the bud. Now is his only chance.

Without a thought to how monumentally stupid this plan probably is, the Knight charges wordlessly, and swings the backside of his shovel at the back of the Spark's skull.

the spark stands still looking at the heart

his eyes are now silver and the shadows return suddenly to their normal levels


'brazul'

he whispers

he is about to do something else when he is hit by the shovel and falls face first into the ground

The Mage congratulates the Knight for his quick thinking. The Mage realizes that he should stop spacing out so much.

The Knight recalls his shovel into his specibus. "Heh. Thanks."

He gazes down at the prone Spark. He'd said something before impact. "Brazul." What could it mean...?

He turns to the body of the Star. He knows that she's probably about to be resurrected any minute now, but he can't help but feel a bit worried...

The Mage spaces out again.

((just to mention his hairs back to normal and he doesnt look gaunt anymore))

((Just to mention it, when the Mage spaces out, he's usually just floating in place while staring at nothing specific. Talking to him or something happening might snap him out of it))

The Maid flies down to join the Knight. "Well, that could probably have gone better." She nudges the Spark with her foot. "How hard did you even hit him?"

The Star resurrects

The Maid gapes at the resurrection. "I... I didn't know resurrecting like this looked so cool..."

The Knight is too busy staring transfixed by the swirling lights to answer the Maid's question.

"Whoa..."

The Star sits up and clutches her chest

"That mother fucker."

The Star looks at the Knight

"Where the hell is that rat mother fucker? I will END him!"

The Knight motions to the unconscious Spark. His appearance seems to have returned to normal, or close to it.

"I hit him over the head as soon as I saw him tear your heart out. There was no telling what he'd do in his state."

He thinks for a moment, before adding:

"Also, before I hit him, he said something: 'Brazul.' Does that mean anything to you, by chance?"

The Star pushes the Knight aside and draws her Bastard Sword

"No, but I know what does mean something. Cleaving the douche in half who ripped my heart out"

The Star raises her sword, then lets it drop towards the Spark

((We should wait for silck before making this scene go any farther))

((Sorry for trapping you like that Meta...))

((No big deal. I would have the Knight try and block the sword, although his reflexes probably wouldn't be fast enough.))

as the sword comes drown to the spark their eyes burst open, showing a bright, cold silver

they portal out at the last second, the sword leaving a tear in their outfit and a cut along their side

'OUCH! what the hell?'

the spark looks at the star, not noticing his blood red hand or the heart lying on the floor

'what the hell was that for? you trying to kill me as well as whoever was down there in the void?'

The Witch was a bit distracted by the murder-y thing, and then the resurrect-y thing, going on down below. She finally hands over the boonbucks.

((ok guys sorry when i posted there were only nine pages and i didnt get alerted that more had been posted when i posted, basically the forums whacked out on me for some reason, ill edit my post in a second but first of all, havoc thats a great picture and all but there shouldnt be blood, there should be no outward signs of damage at all, i ripped your heart out from the inside straight through the portal))

The Star seethes with rage

"That's the idea jack ass."

The Star leaps at him, confusing him at the same time

"I'ma cut your head off and mount it on my wall!"

the sparks concentration breaks again and his inventory is expelled from the duat, including the two ai scythes which target the star and move in to defend

The Star uses her legs to catch the blades of the scythes, embedding them in her legs, and swings at the Spark

the spark staggers around, clutching their head, barley avoiding the sword and getting caught on their arm

the pain shocks the spark out of their confusion

'focus on the pain'

the spark seethes as they captchalolgue their inventory, including the ai scythes

the spark pulls out crescent rose and stands ready, the ai scythes re-entering reality and taking up position behind the star

'look i dont want a fight! all i want to know is what i did when i went dark'

he says, backing up

((and with that i take my leave, cya tomorrow))

The Star's eyes blaze with fire. Her legs run red with blood from the holes from the scythes, but she doesn't seem to care

"You offered me your head on a fucking platter, plain and simple. You're dead, bub"
