The King flies back down and finds his loyal subjects throwing the last batches of fruit onto a chest-high pile.

"Well, that should last us a couple days I'd say."

the spark floats down and pick up a bunch of berries, they look at them, frowning

'hey kingy, when you asked your pawns to find food did you tell them to make sure it was edible to humans?'

"Well, um, not specifically."
It's done telepathically, which isn't quite as exact as spoken language I'm afraid.
They should be ok to eat, I think."

He takes something which looks like an orange grape with the shape and size of an egg and hesitantly takes a bite.

...Only to spit it out immediately and throw the rest into a bush.

"My god this thing tastes AWFUL!"

The King catches the cucumbery thing and digs in, happy to clear the taste of the grape thing.

"Hm, wow, you're right these are great!"

The King keeps eating, just barely remembering not to stuff the entire thing into his mouth.

((Alright. I assume you're doing one game and not the 'first to 500 points' thing? Also, are you using any of the optional rules (like the whole +2 or +4 chain thing)?

As for the opening, the Mage of Void drew a green 8, the Witch of Doom drew a green 9. The Witch gets the first turn. The first card is a red 8.

((One game, probs. And yeah I always played it w/ chains being a thing that could be done. Also, if we don't have any card that works, do we keep drawing more until we get one, or take one card, and if that doesn't work either, pass? I've done both, and am ok with both, so OJ can pick if he has a preference. (Those are the only 2 variations on the rules that I know, any others?) ))

(i use if u have no fitting card u pick, if /that/ card doesnt fit u pass, if it fits play and then game continues as if u hadnt picked up a card))

((That's not how their sylladex works, they need to physically put/pull the thing in/out of their sylladex, so he didn't even think of that xP, maybe the king should suggest it to them))
