Death starts laughing. He says Kanaya will be fine. The Devil isn't going to take her soul, the nightnight crew thinks that they can own souls by nightnighting, but they really can't, and he's not going to take a soul because they were under kind control when they said it. The whole thing will be a useless endeavor.

((Nightnighting isn't exactly mind control, it just makes the nightnighted person switch sides, though.))

Your goin to need a reeeeeally high pulchuritude or artifice stat, because the father of lies and bullshitting probably isn't going to fall for a cheap trick.
