You rush back when you hear the HP yelling. A wild animal has found its way to the camp.
Looks like the rook is charging it. Maybe you could...help.
You draw your pistols with a small grin.

You crash into the animal. Its claws and teeth scrap your thick carapace. You start punching it in the belly.

the liger growls and tries to bite the meat pile on the head

You flinch a little and then grab the animal, trying to smash it on the ground.

the lion is grabbed and thrown to the ground, dazed

you pull up your sniper rifle and try to get a bead on the giant cat

you take a shot at its head, trying to give it a quick death

You ask if that things dead now

you say you think so


you head back to get the deer and return a few moments later


you drop the deer then collapse because holyfuckyoualmostgoteatenbyagiantcat

You mostly ignore the weirdo and stare at the dead animal for a while.

You grab it by its neck and turn around to ask the others if this thing is edible.

You say it probably is, though you would want to purify it first.

You bring it over to the Bishop for him to purify it.

You return to the others, looking a bit annoyed by something.

You wave your hand in the air and say a few things and the food is made clean.

You ask the Bishop if the thing can be eaten now.

You nod.

You ask if anyone else wants some of this thing.

you get up after a few minutes heavy breathing and offer the deer to the bishop as well

You cast purify food on the deer as well.

you nod in thanks and take out your knife and begin to skin the deer before cutting some meat off and putting it on some rocks you had left in the fire

you also builds a drying rack and leaves some strips of meat there as well

You watch what the weird pawn does and imitate him. Sort of.

You rip one of the legs off the animal and start to rip its skin off.

CC leaves the Drill, walks to the Deer, tears off the area were the heart generally is, then walks over to the fire, puts the heart on the ground, and begins to write something on the heart with his staff, which is kind of strange, because he's holding it just above the antique head, and the staff is very long. Once he is done, he pick up the heart, drops it in the fire, waits for a second as the fire splutters, then throws in the rest of the area he tore out. After another second of spluttering, he pulls out a well made dinner, with bone plate, bone knife and bone fork. He sits down and begins eating.

the deer meat is tender and you nod, happy you managed to get one that was not too old otherwise the meat would have been stringier

you look up to cc and say that that was a pretty neat trick he pulled there

You leer at the bishop. You rip out a bit of meat from the thing and eat it raw.

You mumble you already ate enough today. Which is true as you just had some food before you met the others, and you may have eaten more of the fluffy things than you should have.
Plus you're not too fond of some of your companions' eating habits.

The raw meat is tasting fairly well but you decide trying to hang some over the fire as well. You rip some pieces of the flesh out and stick them on a stick, just like you did it with the white stuff. Then you hold them over the fire. Since this takes a while you rip out another handful of meat and eat it while the other meat is over the fire.

CC Responds happily ;'My father taught it to me. With enough pieces of something, I can make a really neat meal. The heart with bits of the Ribs is good, because you can make great utensils.'
He stretches, as if he was tired. In reality, it is a test. If the Rook were to attempt to kill him, he will restore as much of his memory as he can. Not that he probably could. Not only is the promotion wipe thorough, but getting memory back usually is always hard anyway. It never worked on himself, after all, and Rooks arn't Bishops. With a yawn, he finishes his dinner, sets it down next to him, and pretends to sleep, listening intently
