The devil face palms. A large tear goes through the afterlife, Death rises out of the black abyss in the tear, looking quite pissed, he grabs Eridan by the scarf with his scythe and lifts him up. He asks where the hell Eridan's manners are.

It might have negative effects, but not enough to keep him from shooting you. And no, you don't have Havoc-esque dodging skills, that only goes to the characters with TIME POWERS. And DD's aim is very, very good.))

((DD agrees. He finds the gun. Now his suit is dirty, he's either pissed enough to NOT bother saving Alternate Slick or he intends to do what I pointed out earlier, and he has Ahab's Fuckin Crosshairs, which shoots LASERS and is even HARDER to dodge than his normal guns.))

((So either you make DD waste some of his powers, or get his suit dirty. Neither outcome lets you acquire Ahab's Crosshairs or kill Spades Slick, and both outcomes end with you DEAD.))

((DD may not like either outcome, but they're both MUCH worse for Finface.))

Death doesn't move his scythe. He looks the the Devil and back at Eridan. He says that being in a bad mood is no excuse for kicking someone's stuff. He asks how he would like it if he put a dent in Eridan's ship. It wouldn't be very nice, would it? Well kicking the cabinet is worse than a dent in a ship. He probably just killed off hundreds of universes with that. He proceeds to go on a long (At least 5 hours) and boring talk about how the cabinet was made from tree that links universes and how Eridan should respect people's property. He tells the Devil to write down a mark on Eridan's life record before throwing Eridan to the ground.

It's partially just not wanting to get his suit dirty, yes, but there's also the fact that getting the gun for Finface would send the message that any idiot with a weapon can order DIAMONDS DROOG around. There's only ONE immature, angry idiot DD takes orders from, and it's NOT Eridan. And then there's DD's dislike for Eridan. He can't dress himself, he tried to loot the hideout (for all DD knows, he succeeded) and he's a Sleuthkid. All no-nos.))
