The rook's answer to your taunt suprises you and you are to confused to reply. Before you can gather your wits, another ally is sent flying in your direction. However, this time you manage to avoid the living projectile and your friend land uncomfortably on the ground. You take a few steps back and await the dersite's reaction

having a prospitian pawn might do wonders for your mental stability

Whoa a rook? You've always been terrified of those things they always went so beserk you're glad it can't see you! Wait is HP running towards them oh god okay maybe if it doesn't instantly kill you for having a prospitian with you you'll be be to recruit it yes this sounds like a good idea. Welp you better go follow HP and make sure he doesn't get himself killed.

You are upset that the pawn dodged this time. You reach for the next one to throw but you notice that you've run amunition (that is to say, there are no more alive pawns to throw). You briefly consider flinging one of the corpses but you come to the conclusion that it just wouldn't be the same. You decide to keep that idea in mind for later though. For now you just sort of stand there akwardly saying uhhhh...

The you say oh right, you were going to crush him. You walk over to the pawn to do just that.

you see the rook moving towards the last few living prospitian pawns and you shout to him to wait a second

you hope your colour scheme will be enough to distract and even befuddle the rook for long enough for you to talk to him

You hear someone shout something and turn around. You see a very confusing looking pawn, whos body is half Prospitan and half Dersite. You are confused since you are supposed to crush all Prospitans but you are also supposed to protect Dersites. But you once again use your brilliant mind to form a flawless plan. You turn around and walk towards the pawn.

You take sight of the prospiterians, you run to save them from the rook.

You see a large Prospitan run past you to the pawns. What were these ones called again? It's one of those guys with the pointy hats...

The big-but-not-a-Rook Prospitan might be a problem, you should probably crush him quickly but first you need to take care of the weird pawn.

You reach the odd pawn and grab both his arms. You start pulling.

THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS

you shout at the rook

PUT ME DOWN

you shout louder in your most dersite voice

You ask the pawn what he means, you're just trying to pull the Prospitan and the Dersite half apart so that you can crush the Prospitan one.

you say, again in your most dersite voice, that you regretably need your prospitian half to stay alive

you ask him if he has ever seen a living half of a carapace

you call him a stupid hunk of muscle just to make it clear you are a dersite, even if secretly you think you are a bit of both

You answer that insulting a guy who's currently thinking about ripping you in halves shows who of the two of you is the stupid one. You also say that you aren't dumb, you just have a hard time remembering stuff sometimes. That said, you admit that you can't remember every having seen a living half of a carapacian that wasn't attached to another half. Then again you've never seen half a Dersite that was attached to something that wasn't another half of a Dersite and yet here you are, looking at one just now.

You feel very proud for saying something so smart, you've clearly shown that pawn who's the dumb one.

you tell him he is crushing your dersite arm and suggest he drops you before you get hurt anymore

You say that you just realized that a Rook outranks a Pawn, so it's probably okay if half a pawn gets lost while you take out the big-but-not-a-Rook Prospitan. With these words you fling the odd pawn towards said Prospitan and then charge him.

you scream as you fly towards the bishop
