You look at the rook. You whisper, promising them that you won't promote them like that. Just as a general or something.

You say huh, what? You turn back around to the Dersite pawn and apologize, you just blacked out for a second. Also, while you are almost sure you had a name before you got "promoted" you can sadly no longer remember it, in fact, your memory about your life before your "promotion" is foggy at best.

Ah you say. You assure the rook that it is alright and awkwardly pap him in a attempt to make him feel better. You aren't sure if it's actually working or not it just seems like the right thing to do at the moment.

You say thanks. You say that you'll make sure that he won't die, unlike the Pawns he used to travle with. You say it's a shame they all died, the last two of them got shot by that Prospitan mere moments ago. Their bodies still lie over there. One of the two coughs and says he isn't actually dead yet. You ignore him and say it's a shame they all had to die.

You tell the Bishop you are very honored, but you'd never want to be a general. You couldn't bear to decide the life or death of hundreds of people. It makes you nervous just thinking about it.
You are the Reluctant Pistoler by the way. At your service.

To the rook you say that he wouldn't have shot those dersites if they didn't try to murder you and all that. Also that one's still alive.

You ask him if you can take their weapons, no point in letting corpses keep their weapons.

You say that he should feel free to take any of their stuff, they won't need it now that their dead. The one that coughed says that he's still not dead. You continue to not hear him.

You say thank you and slowly walk towards them and loot a sword and a sheath from one of them. He continues to complain about how he is not dea- you mean he DIDN'T complain about anything because he is already dead silly you.

The dersite pawn says oh come ON!

((I would ALSO like to point out the strange fact that Raf is RPing in this around 20 times more than he did in the actual RP, where he made an average of about 4 posts. Not trying to be mean, just observing. Also, these notifications are driving me crazy. How do I turn off notifications for a thread?))

You look at the dersite pawn to assess his damages. Sure your supposed to hate them, but it is kind of hard to hate people just because of carapace color and religious views, and you don't want some poor sap to die because a rook and a pawn just don't care about their own team.

The pawn has been shot in the gut and is bleeding quite a bit.

You ask the bishop what he's doing, you're almost sure that the pawn is dead, there is nothing left to do.

You say oh nothing and "accidently" drop and kick over some bandages to help stop bleeding all while saying oops.

You tell the other pawns you'll be going with the bishop. You say you'll go alone since more might agitate the rook and a larger group is easier to spot by dersite scouts.
Those are weak arguments, but they agree nonetheless.
One of them says don't do anything stupid. You say you wont.

You also ask them to take that dersite with them for the love of Skaia this is ridiculous.
He asks why that guy is dead.
You say ha ha.

The pawn thanks the Bishop and puts the bandages on his stomache wound. He then asks one of the pawns if they could help him up, at this point he doesn't even care anymore if they're Prospitans or Dersites or whatever.

You decide to stop teasing the Dersite and help him up.

He says thanks but he looks a little miffed...

You shrug off his look and step away from him to let him cool off.

You say but seriously now, what are we going to do next?
