You look at him and tell him to look at the colors, they usually explain allegiance. Though this does seem to be a different case.

After a short salute to the fallen you check back on the new guy. Maybe a gun fired next to his ear* will wake him up.
Oh, looks like that won't be necessary.
You say hi, and then turn away again.

((*Carapaces probably have a hole in their exo-skull rather than a real ear, but I'll just assume they're called the same.))

You say you are a Rook and you forgot your name, though you are certain you used to have one before you got "promoted". You then point at the different people explaining who and what they are.

There is another Dersite Pawn, just like him.

There is a Dersite Pawn who may or may not have deserted the amry, since he was sneaking around trying to steal stuff.

There is a weird Pawn who's half Dersite and half Prospitan. He squeaks.

There is a nice Bishop who can make people squeak. He's a Prospitan but you decided he's too funny to be crushed.

There is a Prospitan Pawn. You haven't crushed him because the funny Bishop need alive Pawns to use his funny magic.

And then there is that other Bishop, he's a Prospitan, too. You lean closer to the Pawn and whisper to him that that Bishop is a jerk.

You then set that Pawn down on the ground.

He gesture with his staff and puts LT and HP down. He puts his staff in its holster on his back, and beckons with his hand for everyone to come into the Drill. He enters.

you do not want to enter that thing

it looks like it is about to collapse you say

you sit down on the ground outside and contemplate making another fire

You stay outside as well, you grab parts of a tree and set them down and start flicking your fingers like your trying to set off a lighter.

you point out you have a flint and tinder you could use

You say that that is probably a better way of making fire. You really only have a large ball of fire to use anyways.

you hand it over and settle down and wait for the fire to warm you up

You light the wood and the fire starts burning quickly. You stumble backwards. You grin as you look at your handiwork.

you grin too as you ask for your flint and tinder back

you do not say that you are slightly worried by the look on his face when he looks at the fire

but you are

*The lonely pawn opens his rucksack, and proceeds to pull out some white fluffy things he found one day in the woods*

Anyone want one of these fluffy things?

You say huh? And then realize what he said. You say oh and give it back. You ponder where there could be some food. You hear a pawn say something about a fluffy thing. You say that you would love one of those fluffy things.

you look at the fluffy thing and little thought bubble goes up in your mind

you suggest that the pawn takes the fluffy things and remove the fluffy from them

you say there should be meat underneath

(Can we make a forum for brief character descriptions and names for this, because I wanted to do something else, but I cant keep track of people's names of their Carapacians)

You say that you shouldn't just kill them. But if they are dead then he should at least cast "purify food" first. You ask if anybody has a bucket so he can make some water.

You ask your fellow dersite pawn where it was he got this meat.

*you smell the white fluffy things and say*
It doesn't smell like meat, it smells sugary.

You ask if they are marshmallows.

*you answer*
What the hell is a marshmallow?

You say that it is this sweet small puffy white cylinder that tastes sugary.
