Death's Coffee Shop

Death walks back in from the back room. He stops moving, seeing both of the clearly upset individuals. He pauses and looks to the back room, wondering if he should leave again.

*Eridan exits the building and heads back in the direction he came from, an angry flick of his cape being the last thing visible before he disappears from sight*

Death moves toward Feferi, asking if she is okay.

*Fef watches him go. Once he's out of earshot, she lets out a violent scream and slams her head down on the desk, crying*

T)(AT GLUBBING IDIOT!

Death is startled by Feferi's sudden outburst. He quickly regains his composure and puts his hand on her back, trying to comfort her.

*Fef lays there, sobbing lightly for awhile. She sniffs, wipes her face, and looks at Death*

Feelings are )(ard, dad.

Death sits down next to Feferi, unsure what to say.
He asks if she would like to talk about what happened earlier.

*Fef wipes her face, this time with more success. She breathes in deeply, calming herself. Her dad didn't deserve to deal with stuff like this*

Well, I was actually )(aving a nice day until Ygg and Eridan reminded me t)(ey existed. I spent a long time wit)( Nepeta in t)(e park just talking and )(aving a good time. I wis)( Eridan could be )(alf as understanding and open as Nepeta.

*Fef sighs fondly*

Death asks who Nepeta is, wondering what group she belonged to.

*Fef giggles*

Guess you two never met, seeing t)(at s)(e's too cute to kill. S)(e was adopted by t)(e Felt! S)(e's t)(e small female troll wit)( )(orns t)(at look like cat ears, and a blue tail!

Death's frowns a bit at the mention of the felt. They are the most difficult people to have in the afterlife due to their ridiculous powers. He asks if she's one of those trolls with psychic powers.

*Fef laughs, her face brightening even more. Her dad may not be the most socially knowledgabld, but he knew how to make her laugh*

Not unless you count )(er incredible s)(ipping prowess! Speaking of w)(ic)(, you s)(ould ask )(er for lessons on troll romance! You don't know a glubbing t)(ing and it would )(elp a lot if I could talk to you about t)(is kinda stuff.

Death shrugs, saying he always enjoyed simple romance systems. They were much easier to translate into games. He can't imagine how Life would play if it used the felt's odd system. But he would be willing to learn about the trolls' system if it would help Feferi.

*Fef smiles so big her teeth glint*

T)(at's wonderful, daddy! I'm sure s)(e'd love to teac)( you.

Death smiles back, glad to see his daughter happy again, before he got a more somber expression, remembering about Ygg. He asks what she thinks Ygg wanted to say.

*Fef frowns, the jovality gone*

I don't know, dad, but I'm certain s)(e just wanted to manipulate me. S)(e seems impatient, Dad! Old Ygg would )(ave never )(it me before. I'm worried s)(e'll force the crew to produce results. I argued wit)( Kanaya about killing t)(em but s)(e was strongly against it. W)(at do you t)(ink?

Death ponders this. He says that killing the crew will likely not do much. Even with the devil there to help they are extremely difficult to keep in the afterlife because of their magic and horrorterror connections.

Death says he's not sure, but he's going to see if he can figure out what Ygg was trying to say. Perhaps there is something going on that's bigger than Ygg trying to enter.

Death promises that he'll be fine, it's only talking in the afterlife. He goes into the backroom and vanishes

*Fef picks up her cup of tea and sips it. Delicious as always. Fef sighs and leans back, thinking about everything that happened today. She can't shake the feeling she's missing something. Nepeta had been gone for a very long time, perhaps she should check on her. She sets down her empty cup and heads out*

(Gamzee meanders into the coffee shop with the intention of finding some motherfucking faygo muffins)

PI follows his son.

Death steps out from the back room, looking surprised to see Pickle Inspector and his son. He cheerfully greets the two and welcomes them to his, um, "Coffee" Shop. Death looks back to his empty stores of coffee beans, before explaining that they only have tea to drink at the moment.
