OC DUEL THREAD ACT 2

The Mage shrugs. Considering the teleportation thing, who knows who is and who isn't going to come back.

The Mage asks if you'd like to play a game of cards, to pass the time.

"Yeah, cards sounds good." The Witch says.

The Mage asks what game she'd like to play most.

((im gonna let pawn post, maybe noticing a black blur flying towards him, or not notice xP))

The King decides he's been waiting long enough for a reply and flies upward, where he floats a little just above the treeline. "Spark!?" he yells.
"Well darn. It seems he-"
He turns around and sees a dark figure soaring toward his exact location at breakneck speed.

"Ah." he says.

the spark leans forward till they are horizontal with the scythe vertical, they slow down drastically so that they stop with their face inches from the king

'hi again!'

they say with a grin

The Kings eyes are about as large as they can be. He blinks twice before they return back to their regular, somewhat aloof state.

"Curious how your neck didn't snap from the whiplash. Is that a trained move you just did?"

the spark looks confused for a second before shrugging

'i can control my personal gravity beyond the laws of the game or physics, so i did not  really feel a thing. as for that move, i sort of picked it up from watching sci fi movies and messing around with hoverboards'

they are still grinning and still possibly uncomfortably close to the king


they glance at the kings lips and back to his eyes before wiggling their eyebrows

The Witch shrugs. "You can choose."

"..."

The King slowly floats back a little.

"A-anyway. You left rather suddenly, Spark. Was there something I missed?"

The Mage continues to ask. How about skat? Maybe a game of maumau? Or maybe some MtG or Pokemon would be more to the Witches liking? What does she think of skamaumaut, the gather catch them all?

"Uh... wait, what?"

The Mage nods, right, they would need more players for that. Hmm, Munchmon the Gathering? No, that's only fun if you have a large number of people, too...

The Mage thinks.

the spark frowns a little and returns to normal physical orientation

'cross one off the list' they mumble quietly

they then shrug

'not much, the star just got transported to no-one knows where by someone, or something, that was not trying to hide what they were doing so the mage does not know where, or when, the star went'

The King strokes his nonexistent beard.

"That's quite strange... Not necessarily a bad thing, but concerning nonetheless."

"I'd say let's hope it doesn't happen to anyone else, but then again, it might just be the only way to leave this place."

The Mage pulls out a stack of Uno cards and beginns to shuffle. He says it's probably best to start with something simple.

"Uh... okay, that works." The Witch says. She retrieves a notebook from her sylladex and jots down the weirder game names for future googling.

the spark nods

'anyway, heard anything back from your pawns?'

they say, nodding towards the forest

The Mage deals the cards and asks the Witch if she'd like to start.

"Not yet, but they should return shortly."

A loud croak sounds below.

"Ah, speak of the devil. Let's see what they've found, shall we?"

"Yeah, okay." ((how are we doing this?))

((We could timeskip, just make something up or someone else could be our Game Master and PM us our cards, in which case we could play for real))
