Huh, someone messaged me to increase the sites ranking and traffic. Thoughts? Sorry I haven't been active as PS, I remember someone saying that there would be a posting order so I didn't think I should post before it was my turn, which took a bit and I was pretty much doing a bunch of work to get into a new school over the summer. Also, would anyone be interested in taking over my forum adventure for me? It's right here. I kind of don't want it to die because of all the school work I'm getting.

I am not surprised, there WERE rumors about an update

More than rumors, Huss's <3 herself basically said it coming.

For a brief moment, I did see the link to the next page. But the error got me there.

Eh, lets be honest here, who didn't see this coming? Heck, I didn't even bother to check, I just assumed it'd happen

I checked, because there are a number of sites I compulsively check every day, and MSPA had already crashed.

I would like to point out that the Homestuck update has been removed from MSPA. There's a mirror floating around the internet of the new panel.

This page is where it previously was, but it's now blank.

Ah.
That explains why, when I managed to get through to the site, there was no sign of the new panel (not even an arrow was there when I looked).
I expect it will return eventually.

i have reason to suspect it was a false update used purely to check to see if the new site could hold up to the upd8pocalypse

Which is kinda to be expected: you'd need some serious servers to stand up to a fandom of Homestuck's size all trying to hit the site at once.

I have the mental image of Hussie standing over an aquarium labled "MSPA", holding the update in his hand.

"Hmm, I wonder if this'll work"

*AH lowers the update into the aquarium*

"Heeeeere little Homestucks, get your tasty updaOHGOD!!!"

*The aquarium begins to shake and splash, making loud sceaching noises. Hussie quickly pulls back his hand and the update out and steps back, moments before the aquarium shatters*

"NOPE, STILL NOT STURDY ENOUGH, DAMN IT!"

Kinda like when I tried to feed Eelia, Mum's cute little Peacock Eel: I held the clump of bloodworms just at the surface of the water and he swam up to eat them, but he made such a loud sound as he sucked them from my fingers I dropped the worms and hit my hand on the glass lid of the aquarium! Luckily, I dropped the worms into the tank so Eelia still got fed (he just had to do a bit of hunting, which was prolly good for him anyway).
With hundreds or thousands or hundreds of thousands of slurping eels (eels=Homestuck fans, worms=updates), there prolly would have been some damage . . . if only to my hand . . .

Nah the WELCOME BACK. page disappeared and came back individually as WELCOME BACK. (AGAIN.) for, what? a couple hours? before the rest of the update arrived
