Doze nodded, comprehending the situation. In life and death battles it could be difficult to spare a child. Well, normally a child wouldn’t participate in a battle but the trolls are another case, hardened on their world, formed in formidable fighters.
Some like Feferi could even take on the strongest of the Midnight Crew and the Felt respectively.

His coat is hanging on the rack by the door, his pistol in its holster dangling from a hook on the back of the door. Doc absently tosses a cue ball up in the air, playing catch with himself. He doesn't turn as Crowbar enters

*Doc turns, pocketing the cue ball and clasping his hands behind his back

*Doc turns away again, continuing his stare down of the city, as if trying to bend the buildings themselves to his will.

*The only other reason Crowbar could imagine why the Doc didn't get him back was because the Doc had underestimated their enemies, but that was a thought Crowbar was even less comfortable with then the idea of the Doc willingly keeping him out of this*

Clover peeked behind a door frame, seeing Trace walking around aimlessly. He creeps behind Trace, following behind him, just out of vision.

Quarters sits in his room, silently cleaning his minigun.
