after the spark has meditated he pulls out a harp scythe and starts playing

((yes the harp scythe looks like that, only the shaft is made of wood and the strings are like spun moonlight and sunbeams))

((also if you guys want you can hear it, the spark isnt trying to hide the music and the scythe can be very very loud))

The Maid sneaks away from the group after the death of the golem, and follows the sound of the music when it starts.

the spark continues playing, too lost in the music to sense space moving around the maid

The Witch remembers her original mission.

"So, now that that's over, does anyone here know what exactly we're here for?"

"Hmm..." The Knight begins to ponder the question, before also noticing the music.

"Wait...where is that music coming from?"

He turns and notices that the Maid has apparently absconded. He wonders briefly where she went, but disregards it; it seems like a relatively small area, so wherever she went, she probably won't be gone long. He returns to the topic at hand:

"Anyway, I honestly don't know. All I know is, I blipped in here holding a bunch of Starbucks a few minutes ago and I haven't really been able to follow anything since then."

The Mage shrugs and repeats, that he believes that maybe they are all here to interact with one another, for some reason.

The King decides to ignore the music for now, wishing to leave the Spark some time to calm down.

"Well we're here because we died, aren't we? Isn't that how dreambubbles are supposed to work?"

*He looks around as if trying to find something, or someone.*

"I didn't die, though. I was with my co-players, one of them found out I never watched Con Air, so we were going to watch it, all of us, all the players I mean, and a couple carapacians, we'd just gotten the little one to take off his hat so he wasn't blocking the view, we were like five minutes in when I just sorta appeared here, I didn't do anything heroic, I had no idea what was going on, and it wasn't a just death, at least I don't think it was, I mean justice is good, I always try to do the just thing, I wouldn't do anything that would make me deserve a just death, I don't think, so... I can't be dead. Right?"

"Hm, I suppose not."

He scratches his hair (gracefully).

"Come to think of it, I might not have died either. I was about to, but... Well I guess I got teleported here just in time."

He smiles.

"So, not a dreambubble. But then..."

His smile fades.

((the spark might have some useful insights if he hadnt been scared off by his shadow reacting badly to the stars actions))

The Maid hones in on the sound of the music, and finds the Spark playing some sort of harp... scythe... thing. "Hey... You okay?"

((no we arent doing dreambubbles, its just another realm))

the spark stops playing an looks up sheepishly

'that depends on how much everyone down there wants to kill me'

"I think no one except the Star, honestly." The Maid sits on the windowsill. "... Can I ask what happened?"

the spark laughs sarcastically

'i was going to ask the same thing'

'it was a black out, last i remember grace had killed something outside this area in the void'

'next i am being hit by a shovel round the back of my head'

"Well, after she said that, you said..." The Maid frowns, trying to remember the exact words. "You said, 'there must be balance, for every evil act done, an act of equal good must be done' and then you looked kind of grimdark, but not really, and then you ripped her heart out using portals."

'i did?'

'oh ordos damn me'

'and yes i know about the grimdark type thing, its not the same thing. its more genetic for me'

'i call it a black out, i become evil, dark, all the bad in me becomes all i am'

"That sounds inconvenient."

The Star sneezes

the spark barks out a laugh, no smile on his face

'yeah i guess you could say that'

'and to make matters work i white out as well sometimes'

'i would probably have whited out back there if my anger had not raged first'

The Witch absentmindedly says a 'bless you' in the Star's general direction. She thinks for a second more, then loudly informs everyone and nobody in particular that she'll be right back. She flies up, higher than the towers.
