OC DUEL THREAD ACT 2

The King shrugs.

"I'm afraid that's as much input as we're going to get from her.", he says to the Witch.

"You made a complaint. I asked for your input on how to fix the situation. What is so idiotic about that?"

The Mage floats to the King and the Witch but remains silent.

((uh you do know the spark and maid are at the far end of one of the land and the other group are near the centre, its like, a five/ten minute fly))

The Star literally facepalms and sighs

"Figures. I get stuck with a spoiled prince and a freaking robot. My luck is awful. What else is new"

The Knight, who has been mostly silent to this point, speaks up.

"You're forgetting me. You know, the one who clubbed that guy in the back of the head after he killed you. Granted, you probably weren't conscious for that, but still."

"Excuse me? What did you just call me?"

The Witch looks noticeably angered by the Star's words.

"Oh shit, the robot has feelings. All Points Bulletin guys!"

The Star laughs and falls over, holding her sides

The Mage asks the Witch if she really is a robot.

"I dunno, she doesn't seem that robotic to me..." The Knight frowns, puzzled.

Julia leaned further, and shot forward about twenty feet. "Whoa!"

the spark dodges to the side to avoid getting a face full of julia and laughs

'there you go you are getting the hang of it! although next time try just leaning with your shoulders and not your whole body, its all about weight distribution'

the spark demonstrates by moving much more slowly than they normally would

'the scythe is designed to not let you fall off, that is why it moves forward, because it thinks you are falling off so it compensates, the only thing it will not save you from is really sudden movements, like actually falling off'

The Star staggers to her feet, holding one of her hands out in front of her, still clutching her side

Tears run down her face as she just keeps laughing

"Stop... you're killing me!"

The Mage wonders aloud if such a death wound count as either heroic or just.

Julia tried leaning forward again, with just her shoulders this time. The scythe obliged, gliding forward smoothly.

The Witch's hands clench into fists.

"Stop laughing. Do not call me that again."

The King sends the Star a look of utter disdain.

"And do not speak to me of princes."

The Mage asks the Witch what's so bad about robots.

"Robots in general are fine. It's calling me one that's the problem."

the spark holds their hands in the air

'wohoo look at that! you are getting the hang of it!'

the spark tips forward, pushing back with their feet to keep the scythe from moving forward, making the scythe go vertical with its blade at the top

'as for turning you just push the scythe out so its makes the outside of the turning circle, the more horizontal you lean the tighter the circle'

"So I can just..." Julia leans until she's practically horizontal, and she begins spinning around an insanely tight circle. "OH MY GOD THIS IS SO CRAZY"

The Knight sighs. This is going to be a running theme, isn't it, he thinks.

"Look, regardless, we should probably consider...you know...not pissing each other off long enough to figure out where exactly we are and how we got here. Anyone else agree, or am I just talking to myself here?"

"There seems to be only one person working against that goal. Get her to be tolerable and everything should work fine."
