((she was off hunting the thing she had killed, or something like that))

The King blinks and looks slightly confused.

"Oh, excuse me, I was lost in thought. You were saying?"

From the distance, very faintly, there can be heard unearthly screams of things unknown. If your hearing is REALLY good, you can hear even fainter sounds of stabbing, ripping of flesh, and a very quiet cackle

"Um... okay, someone else heard that, right? Please tell me I'm not the only one who heard that."

the spark narrows their eyes suddenly and almost growls

'she seems to be having fun'

they turn back and claps their hands

'alright so how about we go exploring and see if we can find anything to eat. i do not know about you but i am feeling slightly peckish'

The Mage says he kind of stopped eating. He isn't quite sure if it is because of godtier or because he's been floating around in the Furthest Ring or any other reason but he mainly eats only if he feels like tasting stuff.

He also says he might have some food stored in his wallet, but he isn't sure if it'd be of your taste. He adds that most of the food he should have would be weird snacks though

"I could probably summon something with a good amount of meat on it, but I'd rather not kill -or eat- any of my subjects.

Plus I'm not sure if they're actually edible."

'yeah probably for the best that you do not kill your subjects'

'it looks like there is a forest over that way there might be fruits over there'

the spark says, pointing towards the other side of the tower

*arrives from the abyss*

"You will not BELIEVE what I found this thing in."

*hefts her Ashandarie*

The Mage makes a sound of confusion.

'probably something of earth shattering import'

the spark says, rolling their eyes and looking towards the star

"Nah! It was some massive ass black beast thingy with shit tons of tentacles! It died nice and easy."

The Mage says that the Star should have waited, he could have tried to talk to it. It might have been related to the Horrorterrors. Though it can't have been anyone important or it wouldn't have died like that.

He then asks the Star if they could estimate how big the creature was. Like, 30 meter? 100?

"I dunno, like 200ish meters?"

the spark snorts and whips out their scythe and zooms off in search of food

The Mage ponders. That sounds bigger then your average Fluthlu, maybe a Nrub'yiglith? Though then again, neither of them would be black, so who knows.

The Mage shrugs, what has been done has been done. Still, talking to that one might have given you some answers. The Mage shrugs again, adding that he doesn't mind but thought that the others were looking for answers.

"Yeah, we are... but do you really think whatever was down there would've answered anything? Not that I agree with what she did, but... from what I've seen of them they don't really help out with that stuff much."

The Mage says that he usually has lovely conversations with the Horrorterrors. Not that they are always helpful but especially the lower ones are easily convinced to help. He adds that maybe he just gets along better with them then most people. He then mumbles something about titles but you can't quite understand him. Was he even using human words?

"Um... say that again? I got everything up to 'most people'." The Witch looks confused.

the spark looks back at the sound of the mage mumbling, even from this distance that language is unmistakable


they shake their head and keep searching, amongst the trees for fruit

"I'll be joining the Spark in our search for food if you don't mind."

The King then calmly floats toward the forest.

The Mage waves, it wasn't important, just a silly little thing some of the Horrorterrors call him. Come to think of it, they never called him by his name as far as he can remember...

The Star pokes the Mage in the face very slowly
